I haven't tried it yet but there is an AUR package for the QT based util.

EDIT: Package seems to compile fine, can't test it as I lack a keyboard.

This is my repo. I had tried my best to get this working. Didn't really understand what was wrong, guess I should have posted here asking for help. Will test this out soon.

This was the one on the Japanese auction site bought through a proxy last month. This defiantly uses the same parallel connection ASCII interface.

Seems to have the same switches as the others:

Just got one of these in from Japan. The PCB layout is quite different! Also came with a really nice box as well. Unfortunately the manual was not included, seems the 'jumpers' are not the same either. The pinout seems to be the same though, I am hopeful I will be able to fix up an adapter.

So I need to read more carefully. The OP says to copy paste the output of hid_listen into scla. Once you know to do that it works great.

Was anyone able to get this to work I am in the same state as Rotti. I can see data on hid_listen but no data in scla. If only I understood what hid_listen was printing I could just use that data and forget about scla. Looking at the scla source code that is posted, it does not seem to do anything ...
