When you send a PM, it is first stored in "Outbox" until the recipient (who receives a notification) fetches it, and is then automatically ...

When you send a private message, it stays in the "outbox" until the recipient actually reads it — only then is it moved to the "Sent" folder.

When I send a private message it sits in the Outbox for 'a period of time' before sending. A few weeks ago this 'seemed' to be about 20-30 mins.

However, a few days ago I replied to a message and attached a 2mb photo and it stayed in the Outbox for at least a day (it may have been two). I tried ...

... I obviously did not click "submit" :-(

I tried to send you a PM three times now, but they do not show up in my outbox, or anywhere else after sending. With other users I can communicate just fine -- any idea what could be the reason?

Outbox = unread.

The Pingmaster’s IBM look always has me thinking Model F. But no, they’re Alps, so in theory this project is feasible. Can only really tell once you have one to poke around inside with a mind for doing this kind of work.

For example I have 20 pages in Inbox, and 17 pages in outbox, it would not be unreasonable to do this 37 times, and then you have a folder of searchable files.

Hmm. Sounds like something's up. They should appear in your Outbox the moment you send them, and then in your Sent messages when the other person opens them.

Edit: DM sent. It appeared in my Outbox immediately, as it should.
