You should be able to find all the keys you need on eBay. Modelfkeyboards.com sells new replacement keys, and Unicomp has just about everything, except they're printed and not double-shot moldings.

Don't forget that Model M, Wheelwriter, and terminal keys also fit the Model F.

I don't think they made it in the Wheelwriter configuration, but they definitely use capacitive Model F assemblies. The layout of those 85 series would not be compatible with an XT case ...

What cable did you use? I had kind of a hard time finding coiled USB-C cables in a decent quality and length.

This is such a cool mod to the board. The M barrels are an especially excellent move IMO, much easier and/or cleaner than other methods that I have seen. I'm glad I haven't ansi-modded my F AT yet otherwise I would have done it the hard way.

Interesting use of the Model M barrel plate; very useful if you have trouble sourcing Model F barrels.

... a totaled model m barrel plate so i decided to put it to use for the bottom row. this allows the bottom row to be one piece (when doing an alt/wheelwriter mod); this appealed to me more than the alternatives i have seen other people do (cutting the original spacebar barrel then gluing more barrels ...
