Re: Future of DT
I'm an email admin (been doing my own mail for 17 years, did it for a university before we went Google) and yeah this is stupidly easy to fix. But, it might not fix Gmail delivery completely as they are finicky as all get out (Sendgrid makes good money for a reason). I do see a SPF record, but no D...

WTS: Moving Sale, F62, Beamspring, Zeal, TKL PCB, GMK set, free stuff
Hey, long time no see (but sometimes I still lurk), because I still use the same two keyboards since a long time (hmkb 96 and vortex 68). I will move for some time to another country (china), so I need money and don't have space. So I will part with stuff I originally don't wanted to sell. There als...

the older boba came in two spring weights, the newer ones only come in 65g that is quite a nice spring IMHO and due to the (https://www.techpowerup.com/review/building-a-keyboard-9-marvodiy-redefined-68-forest-pbt-keycaps-gazzew-boba-switches/images/boba-lt-9.jpg) tighter coiling at the ends it feel...

That's the thing: they're wildly inconsistent, and they make the rules. For instance, when I proxied the Kishsavers into Britain, I got a customs fee of £150-£200 as memory serves. This was my second time getting something from Tinnie, so I made sure he lowballed the customs declaration. Customs fel...

Here is some more Round 1 beam spring feedback from a geekhack forum member that I wanted to share here. Everyone please do share your feedback (even if there were little to no issues!), and also please share any mods or tips you have done to improve the beam spring keyboard. https://geekhack.org/in...

Capsense modeling and real life observations.
This post is here should anybody try to understand how capsense actually works and how sense card looks like, capacitance-wise (and that I'll be able to later find what I did and what results I've got). You're welcome to ask questions or ask me to measure something specific (if I still have the rig ...

[IC] BSUN Peach Pride Switches
Hiya Everyone! I’m here to gauge the interest in the switches I’m planning to group buy, they are a pretty rare switch from a notable switch manufacturer: BSUN. If you don’t know about BSUN they are the manufacturers of the GSUS “New panda” holy panda switches. They are a pretty elusive manufacturer...

Looking at those Bluetooth Niz boards—and suspending my WTF-grade disbelief about the seminal name!—the layouts and the caps both put me off. Now, if they were £50 boards like you say, I'd be much more tempted. But they're HHKB money! same goes for me, i would love to try out a wired ISO Layo...

Re: Is there something about Cherry MX switches that make them more "clonable" than other designs?
Talking about Cherry clones: has anybody been crazy enough to clone MX Clears? I suppose you intended to be snarky, but I also don't know how ignorant you are: There are several options for "Ergo Clears" with lighter springs that lack the scratchiness and tight keycap mount of real Clear — but I've...

There's a Canon AP-400 typewriter available locally. An online search suggests that it has SKFF Alps switches? I'm not really interested for myself, but am wondering if I should grab it? Price is $68, possibly negotiable.

Re: Niz plum 35g or 45g?
I got a Niz Plum x108 EC-USB 35g not too long ago. It is definitely a rubber dome keyboard, but still a damn good one. I used the extra springs it came with to increase the weight from 35g to 45g and I really don't feel a noticeable difference, especially when I type fast. I would say I prefer the 4...
