I'm not sure why you'd do it on a clicky switch, as the goal is to eliminate an unintentional click ... switches as I've already tried it on a loose SKCM damped cream I have and it feels/sounds pretty good.

Generally I do not like damped sliders in Alps switches or clones. However, I prefer spacebars to be quiet, and so in the spacebar switch on Alps-switch keyboards, I have put a damped slider from a Matias Quiet switch. I've found that the Matias sliders are much tighter on the keycaps than are standard Alps.
