I think its because Linus actually gave a shit about the thing he's reviewing. I imagine the usual crap he reviews gets very boring after you do it several hundred times. A Model M review was refreshing to see for us, and probably for him as well. Ellipse you should definitely send him a review unit...

That black zenith badge is absolutely stunning. You should mend the coiled cable though. Feed a cable through the coils then tie a knot on the end so the coils stay tightly together, then heat up the cable. Once it cools down again the coils should stay in form. Thats if you're as OCD as me

I think this was back when Unicomp made for IBM (like lexmark did before them) Once IBM moved away completely from the market, Unicomp lost the right to make or sell IBM badged items - at least according to them. This SSK must've been produced by IBM and then given to unicomp as leftover stock

As long as you continue to try control your number of posts i.e. not spamming 4 posts in a row like you were doing, then I can't see anyone having an issue with you. Also had that Model M post you sent earlier been genuine I would've loved you. I almost bought 6 before I read the item description :l...

Now you have three of them, will you be doing anything interesting with them? I'd love to see them turned in to ISO, ANSI and UNIX HHKB layouts with some xwhatsit controllers, perhaps a space bar and alt key mod as well, unless of course you prefer them stock

Nice looking Soviet Checoslovakian Hall effect keyboard. These are single-spring hall effects, not the ones Chyros reviewed. But you went on to compare it to someone being raped and being made to enjoy it. It wasn't a metaphor. It was just a really weird comparison that wasn't needed.
