The Dell Latitude D series had two generations of keyboards:
  1. very soft, barely tactile one on Dx00 and some Dx10 laptops, and
  2. newer, thinkpad-like keyboard on the D410 and Dx20 or newer laptops.

I'm left-handed. I use the trackpoint, tablet pen, stylus, rollermouse etc. only with my left hand, and I guess I can use finger trackball with either hand—I actually swap hands when using the Logitech TrackMan Marble. However, I've never completely switched to left-handed mousing, although I've bee...

I've seen only *one* article that recommended raised position—it read that hunt'n'peck typists often can't see key legends on flat/negative-slope keyboard, thus raised keyboard feet should help them maintain good posture when typing. I strongly prefer flat (or negative slope if possible) these days....

No, not thumbdrive. However, you could make something like QIDO using Arduino/Teensy/...

BTW TypeMatrix has hardware support for Dvorak (and Colemak as well, in case of TM 2030).

IIRC some G80-3000s were made with browns, but only to be sold in Asia.

Impedance isn't the only thing that matters. In fact, you need to know two numbers: impedance and sensitivity. And also characteristics of your source. If you eventually get an amp, low-impedance heaphones may sound wrong with it (usually issues with bass); on the other hand, most higher-impedance h...

TM 2020 feels cheap and looks ugly. I mean, it isn't bad, but not really worth $60 + $50 shipping ($#@! you UPS). On the other hand, TM 2030 has some of the best scissor switches I've ever used, is more portable, supports Colemak etc. Differences in layout are obvious.

If you have issues with forearms and shoulder, check your posture first. MS Natural Keyboard Elite or Dell/LiteOn/Silitek SK-6000 (about $20) — both are decent RD-over-membrane (Maxi Switch on the SK-6000 feels a bit lighter) keyboards with fixed "3D" split layout (works great in case of tennis elbo...

I think M50s are way too overpriced, especially in Europe. My recommendation is either HD25, or DT 770 Pro. Don't worry about getting HD25s used (non-SP version often goes for 100–120 EUR used), they're extremely durable, and every part is easy to replace. Great for bass-heavy music. If you have a b...

Just stay away from those cheap Chinese foot switches sold on eBay/DX/... They are linear and long-throw, which makes them more or less useless for anything but casual gaming, unless you're disabled or extremely slow.
