The reference here is a machine that has even less ports than the X220, so, bare minimum is relative. The mac has USB3, TB, HDMI and SD card slot, so, again, what is bare minimum?

Personally I found that TB accessories are very expensive, so USB3 is the best for my needs.

I am afraid that very few real life samples of this model look as cool as the one in the picture, most should need retrobrithing and cleaning, but, well, it is a super nice vintage computer. It was pretty much a market failure, though, overpriced and underpowered.

Interesting to see these real Honeywell models with quite different color theme (more like NCR) from the Honeywell keycaps group buys recently. Also the top row Function keys start from F11 and then arbitrarily end at F30, and ...

Right! First things first, the comment is totally of out of place here, as Mr. Wodan is a trustworthy fellow. It was just a reference to some failed GBs and sells that happened at GH, last year.

btw: Is this "international kit" front-printing a common thing? I got these from a Zenith branded G80-1192.

Interesting thing, but wonder why does someone want to have both, ANSI US along with DE layouts, at once in a non programmable keyboard.

The space bar is single shot as it does not have any legend, the GMK one is made of ABS and it is available nowhere, as far as I know; but, you can always get PBT ones from other sources like IMSTO's, whose space bars match OG Cherry base color pretty well, if not perfectly.

Now that there are two molds for the 6u space bar, it would be good to specify which one are you gonna include in the split kit, hopefully it'd be the classic 18xx off centered one, or in case of doubt, to include both.

That might be less messy and you would still be able to open the case.

This is a sounding solution, the silicon way is just too messy, even if its solvent doesn't corrode the PCB.

This would be interesting, if you run a concurrent GB for appropriated key caps, otherwise, unless people are willing to use blank DSA sets, sourcing appropriate keys would be a night mare.
