Updated this with some new keyboards. The acquisition rate has dropped significantly over the years. Only two three additions since last time (TX60, LZ CLS s x h and MX5k). Unless I forgot something.

I have a similarly far gone 5251 that's been sitting in pieces for a couple of years by now while I've been trying to figure out what to do with it. Following this with much interest!

How do they sound in there? I find my blues sound quite poor in aluminium customs, but I only have them in 60% trays and have done very little to help them as I lost most of my interest in Alps.

While unpacking it I was most surprised to see that someone had been indecent enough to split it in half while, presumably, rage quitting fortnite. Worry not, however, I'm mitigating the issue as we speak using but the finest of materials: ice lolly sticks and epoxy.

Thanks! The keyboard is a LZ CLS sxh with a steel plate. The PCB is a TMK'd GON NerD 60 and the switches are spring swapped (60cN), lubed and PC-filmed nixies.

There were quite a lot of beamspring finds in Germany with german layout over the years....
That's good to hear! (I'm quite new to all this.)
At the moment I'm waiting for a 5251 with my beloved XT layout. It's 1250$ + 240$ import tax. For the 1300$ "saved" I will happily be content with its ...

Is anyone keeping track of prices over time, at least for some of the more popular boards?

Wondering just how much the market exploded and prices have gone up. On page 2 or so of this thread is someone in 2011 asking what their Beamspring keyboard is worth and the answer was “$100 to $200”. I’ve ...

Upper case not so much but G S and O give it away if you look close.
I had a similar experience, ended up with 20/20, but two of them, Toyota and Mattel, were just lucky guesses.

I used superbuy, and had no issues at all, but the shipping out of China was a little expensive when compared to e.g. aliexpress, but nothing out of the ordinary. It just felt a little weird paying $25 shipping on a $10 item :D.
