A pretty decent switch. A much-needed improvement from the original Kailh Red.

The Tecware Pearl Teal is a bog-standard switch from Tecware. This is one of those “it’s good enough” type of switch, but is otherwise unremarkable.

Those Olivettis have different Keycaps. A nice blue instead of black lettering...

Ah of course its the keycaps. I can only imagine what this would have cost if the board had the full set!

The Tecware Pearl Clear is a fully transparent switch that competes with the Gateron Black in the price and spec categories. Also, I am aware of that these aren’t the first, nor will it be the last “transparent” switch to hit the market.

I just bought a board with the KPT Blues and they are pretty rough feeling even though the board itself didn’t appear to be heavily used. But the caps on yours look pretty awesome. The Tecware Pearl Purple is essentially a lighter tactile switch in comparison to the Pearl Salmon, but they almost feel like linear switches when typing at normal speeds. I guess, it’s a worthy MX Brown upgrade, but I still don’t know who this is really for.

I’m glad the wobble test was useful. Also, it really wouldn’t be fair to compare these to Alps Salmon switches. Complicated Alps switches are different beasts entirely! Once I’ve collected a decent number of Alps boards, I can do reviews on them. I’m still on the hunt to find a clean AEK with Salmon...

The Tecware Pearl Salmon is a new Holy Panda clone at a more affordable price point. Disappointingly, it’s not available worldwide. Also, since these are brand-new to the market, I will update this description if anything notable changes.

The Kailh BOX White is now a 5-year-old clicky switch design, but it’s still better than the Cherry MX Blue in my opinion…as in, if you’re still using the MX Blue, go and give these a try.

This Ortek MCK-142Pro...and it doesn't even have 142 keys despite the name. It has Alps White which is less cool. But I think it's a still a beast of a board.

I mean, if the manufacturer can’t be bothered to make distinctly different switches from one another, then same goes for my description

The Outemu Orange is a light tactile switch which doesn’t do a whole lot to distinguish itself from rivals. It’s not a bad switch though, just very ‘meh’. Yes, this was copied and pasted from the Outemu Purple’s description section.

The Akko CS Lavender Purple is a fantastic budget tactile switch suited for those entering the hobby and for those looking for a smooth, medium-ish tactile switch. Just as a reminder, they’re $10 for 45 switches!

Calling it “Bluish White” certainly is weird, but I’m sure we’ll see even stranger switch names in the future!

The TTC Bluish White is in an interesting “semi-silent”, medium tactile switch in the midrange price segment…and this isn’t even the strangest switch they make.

The SP-Star Polaris Purple is a middle ground switch that slots in between the Cherry MX Brown (clones included) and the Durock T1. It’s a nice starter switch for those just getting into the hobby and don’t want to explore vintage keyboards.

The NovelKeys Blueberry is a very heavy tactile switch with an elongated tactile bump – a unique feature for an MX design. The switch overall is too scratchy, especially for 80p per switch.

The Durock T1 is an affordable switch for those looking for an MX based tactile switch without breaking the bank.

The Zealio 67g V1. An actual improvement over many tactile MX Clones. It’s quite pricey though.
