Heh, I got into smartwatches. Got Gear S3 the other day, but I have to wait a few weeks to actually put my hands on it, so I got Gear Fit2 in the meantime as wellgogusrl wrote: ↑I kinda got into watches. After lurking for 6 months I bought 2 in 3 days

On my XTant I use binder clips handles on one side to clamp down on the stabiliser wire and I'm quite satisfied with the result.DMA wrote: ↑ Anyone knows how to make a spacebar to be more solid? Those washer retention clips are not ideal.

Is anyone else having issues when trying to remap Soarer's converter run keyboard using Mac's own modifier keys remapping? I tried assigning Option key to Command, but it's not working - Option key still registers. Edit: Same is true when using a generic PS/2 -> USB adapter, so I guess it has to do ...

Maybe off-topic but I deal more with controller's these days, and what I'm missing the most from hasu's is actually not concerned with keyboard functionality but with workflow: - soarer's controller has custom tool to upload keymaps, which with Pro Micros means I don't have to play with RST pin to r...

Does soarer's controller/converter support locking keys in any way? I tried mapping a locking caps lock key on my board to 'LOCKING_CAPS_LOCK' but then the key is simply not functioning. Setting it to 'CAPS_LOCK' works, but I then need to release the lock key and press it again to exit CAPS LOCK mod...

Here it is with xwhatsit's controller (emdude was kind enough to pass this little beauty on to me): https://i.imgur.com/dCBWI9P.jpg I desoldered the header from original controller and soldered it to xwhatsit's. Mapping of the pins (when viewing keyboard/PCB from above is): G R4 R3 R2 R1 G C1 C2 C3 ...

Oh great oracle, do you know what the difference between pre July 2013 and post-July 2013 short unicomp spacebars is? Judging from the pic in http://www.pckeyboard.com/mm5/graphics/ProductNews7-25-13.pdf they seem the same. It seems they just shaved difference between old and new is 0,25U transfered...

You can try newer boards with Matias switches which are comparable to (good condition) bamboo switches. With Alps, condition is everything, and depending on your preference for linear or tactile I'd recommend either a SKCL green or SKCM orange respectively. There are more exotic and "better" alps sw...

I got 2 separate macintosh portable keyboards (one ANSI and one ISO), and both are salmon Alps switches http://deskthority.net/wiki/Alps_SKCM_Salmon, just like the ones in the pictures in this thread. Except the ISO enter uses a skinny green linear switch instead: http://deskthority.net/wiki/Alps_S...
