eh, i use the numpad in combination with the arrow keys, constantly toggling between the 2 "modes" would have been awful for me

This thread wasn't supposed to be about Cherry v everything else, it was about a specific board that someone inexperienced wanted help with. I don't think immediately lecturing the OP about how "Cherry is inferior to everything else" is really going to help them get the answer they are looking for....

Only thing I can really appreciate about them is their looks , they look nice as hell.

I think they serve better as background keyboards in movies than something I'd use daily but YMMV

Alps interest is already pretty small and a fullsize interest is even smaller and combined makes a very tiny market of people wanting a fullsize custom Alps board. Couldn't imagine enough people for a factory to care about it

Neat idea but I think the time and effort could have been put into new Alps keycaps. Easier said than done, but I also agree. Worst aspect of Alps is that you either have to use shit ass caps or hope for some rare board to have nice caps. There's not enough interest for a company to make Alps mount...
