Re: Weytec HK2000 with big problem
These controllers are VERY hard to find on their own, I had to buy a whole second keyboard with the controller box just to be able to use my MK06, took nearly a year to get one for a good price too. If your pockets are deep, you can still get them new through Wey themselves, but expect to pay a few ...

Fujitsu Leafspring keyboard - converted!
Hey DT. I received this Sanyo MBC-885 keyboard some time ago and have been on the fence about converting it or not. FLS are difficult to convert as most of them speak a proprietary protocol; meaning that usually a controller replacement is the way to go, which is what I ended up doing. I traced out ...

I'm pretty sure this keyboard requires a KVM switch, but with enough effort I'm sure you can interpret whatever protocol it uses,

SOLD Topre Hi-Pro HEKB01
https://imgur.com/a/YXhfiRq Selling my HEKB01 cause I am in financial trouble. Aside from the yellowing the whole keyboard is in amazing condition. None of the keycaps have any shine and the plate is still really shiny with zero signs of corrosion anywhere. It’s very clean. I really don't want to s...

Hatsucoh HEKB01 Keyboard
Hello DT, Recently picked up this HEKB01 Topre Hi-Pro keyboard with the aim of converting it. https://i.imgur.com/vCPi9zQ.jpg In all honesty, I don't know where to start, I had a brief chat to Hasu who thinks it should be able to be protocol converted but I don't have a logic analyzer or oscilloscop...

Re: 1990 Chicago Tribune article on keyboards interviewing Key Tronic, Northgate and IBM managers
He found a company in Japan that made key switches with the sound and feel he liked. The feel is like IBM`s, but the click is louder. Hmm, I wonder what company this could be. 8-) Great article, interesting to see the small enter was a deliberate choice and that clicky vs silent rivalries were just...

Not 100% related, but these switches are massively underrated, the ones I have are very smooth and comparable to FLS, so nice. good luck!

I think I literally just used a lens wipe, just anything that won't leave any dust, mine was pretty clean anyway so I'm not sure it even did anything but it stopped playing up after that so go figure.. haha

Re: IBM Model M Screw, Nut and Bolt Mod
Hi all, I have done the bolt mod and everything went fine (tip: Aliexpress for bolts, washers and nuts amounted to around 10€) Anyway, my question is, that now I have the following problem: the key 's' sometimes keeps registering as pressed even though the buckling spring returns the keycap. So bas...
