Key Tronic E0500 ( link ). Any info about this? Elma Electronic CH-8820 ( link ). Looks like a Cherry G80-1800 with winkeys—in a metal enclosure (allegedly >4 kg). I've seen stuff very similar to the bottom board there. A rack mount G80, it's in this thread somewhere. I'm still salty i didn't get m...

7bit doesn't have a "business model" per se. He just has his own archaic system for running group buys. He takes a year deciding what should be in the kits, then opens pre-orders for a year, and then tries to get a production slot at SP. And with the backup they have for double-shot keycaps, that m...

If you need a computer (to run programs etc for your major) get the macbook. If you need a note taking device -- literally just to take notes and surf the web-- get an ipad pro w/apple pencil and smart keyboard. That way you can either hand write or type notes. But if you need more than that you rea...

TBF its really the sellers who are ripped off, fees can often reach around 20% of the hammer price. 20%? I wonder which special features you have to book to be charged so much. On the other hand, you pay when riding a bus or using your phone, and seemingly free services like Facebook or Twitter use...

If you want to cut the case get one of those early M122 cases and chop it up. It's not that difficult to get it nice, and you won't be wrecking an unsaver top shell if you mess it up. If you mess up modifying the metal plate pieces you can probably get another one made, for a price. Good luck getti...
