Despite the wrong color, I think it looks good, maybe better. Should ask for a discount or redo though if you aren't happy.

Awesome. I've always liked display writers. I'm assuming with some measurements, someone who is good at fabricating, could make wrist rests like this. I think it would make display writers very viable as daily drivers. Thanks for sharing! Maybe one day I'll be able to get one at a reasonable (hopefu...

"Turbo" was (correct me if I'm wrong on some details—I'm too young to have lived through the era) a feature where PCs could be underclocked for use with software that required a particular clock speed for timing. Pressing the Turbo key changed clock speeds between low and normal, making "turbo" a b...

Ok so probably a question (dumb) that has been answered, but are these caps going to be cherry mx? Tired and on my phone, so it's hard to browse.

I have the 5981. The switches themselves are quite nice. The letdown is definitely build quality of the board. Mine flexes like crazy, I'm sure yours is similar. The keycaps also leave something to be desired. With that being said, your board looks to be in amazing condition, and I really do like th...

Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread
So I found this thing. I have absolutely no idea what it is. Hopefully someone does. Switches are linear and pretty scratchy. I didn't see any identifying marks on them. The key caps are somewhat spherical and engraved. Recently thick. Tried fitting them on cherry switches, but no dice. The thing d...

Very cool, despite my dislike of iso. Fat ass enter though is pretty awesome.

That sounds like it sucks. Glad it isn't painful like when your hand "falls asleep". I can't really relate, but I lost feeling in my right lower lip for a couple weeks following surgery, and it was scary not knowing if I'd ever get feeling back. Here's to a quick and surgery-free recovery. Sent from...

Re: buckling spring with cherry on top
I wish I could try a set of these if you end up manufacturing them, but I actually don't have any Cherry mount keycaps in a flat profile (just OEM, which wouldn't work with adapters, I presume, given the precurved BS plate). Those custom keycap group buys always seem to be $100+, which is just too ...

i don't like black too, probably because of its weight it feels so hard to type fast on them. We don't get along very well. I am really liking white and cream damped though. Interesting. I have never seen a green stabilizer insert before. The led indicator sticker looks odd to me, but that could be my eyes playing tricks on me. Or the white balance being off. But those key caps are cool.

Definitely a keeper. Layout-wise obviously not the best, but 100 percent usable. I love thinking of model f keyboards as low profile. Different times for sure. I wonder what people thought about beam spring vs model f back in the day. I can easily see people liking the "low profile" nature of the F ...

Very nice. I have a salmon one myself. I really enjoy it. I've heard most people enjoy orange alps more, and brown alps seem to be very coveted. I'll probably never own brown, but I'm keeping my eyes open for a cheap aek with orange alps. @muirium orange alps seem to be harder to find (from my limit...
