There's nothing quite like a classic Windows Mouse Optical https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA4RE3038710 I have one proudly going strong after around 12 years with no real maintenance. I should probably open and clean it one of these days, but I'd be worried about removing some of ...

Beamer switches activate when the flyplate is close to the PCB, right? Perhaos that column of switches is either sitting too low in the plate or the PCB is raised there in some way? Aside from some short on the PCB, I suppose.

I think lots of mice are rear-bump? I don't have one to check currently, but Razer Krait/Diamondback as well as Mionix Avior I think are all rear-bump. Might just be my penchant for ambidextrous mice.

Excellent writeuo, and very well illustrated. I've not quite been able to put together the "longer slider" thing visually until now.

The upgrade docs from 3.0 -> 3.2 state: "phpBB 3.2 is not compatible with 3.0 and most of the previous files will need to be removed prior to upgrading." So it sounds like we would basically need to re-write all of the styling and any custom plugins for 3.2. Styling doesn't sound very scary, so I su...

In an effort to get this moving, what version of phpBB are we on currently? Are the DT-specific customizations available anywhere? A first step to upgrading would probably be running the latest locally with the DT plugins and styling, I'd imagine. EDIT: Ahh I see in the previous page, 3.0.X is the c...

For the photo shoot setup, I really like that you put every keyboard on the same wooden board (from a school desk. Isn't it a school desk?) - it works really well for the viewer to put into perspective about the size and dimension. A coin won't do the work nor a mouse or mouse pad, while the whole ...

Anyone know what a good price would be for one of these boards? I recently sold one without a spot of rust, verified working but unconverted, for 200 USD and I think that was pretty fair. Add a fair amount for shipping on top of that. Less for rusty ones, sketchier ones in other ways, missing caps,...

Need some more pics :) Looks to be in great condition, the 5251 layout is quite nice -- ISO Return and a split right Shift, with a handy compact tenkey.

If only they had two modifiers to the left of the Spacebar, would really be killer on modern systems.

I've done a fair amount of "press for Esc, hold and press something else for Ctrl+something" bindings in Karabiner, so it might be possible to make every character a Fn key when held that exposes a layer of all of the decorated single characters. In Karabiner however this results in a noticeable del...
