Another possibly stupid solution: is the adapter passive? I'm saying this because if you use a passive adapter the numlock light does indeed flash on and then nothing happens.

It's a really nice layout!

I just got some navy box switches, which seemed at reasonable price.
I still have a way to go for my project, but boy do they feel nice just trying them on their own!

So, Ellipse has tried springs that were even better than the originals and discarded them.
Why replicating something when you can reinterpret it your own way, I will never get that part of this beautiful project, sorry.

I will say the most unpopular thing EVER, *EVER*.

Using the tty for my industrial tkl project, loving it and looking forward to put this awesome keycaps on some proper switches.

I'm tempted to make a board out of those navys, but isn't it weird it gives tactile and clicky feedback when unpressed?
That's really the major thing stopping me for now, I'd love to hear from someone using a board with navys or jades.

The solution was easy, I won't have to solder the wires to the pcb traces, simply to the pins : )

I also did the spacebar mod on my (now gone) xt, totally worth it! just be careful not overdoing it, the elastic band will slip off and cause contact on the board.
I had to do tweak it several times to get it right, boy those Fs are a full time job : )

hi all! any idea what these switches might be? keyboard looks cute as hell, it's a police device and it showed up on reddit/MechanicalKeyboards, I fear they are rubber domes from the look of it.

Don't do it. Now you've touched a Model F, the Model M will feel 'stifled' in comparison.

I know, model Ms feels a bit stiff and choked compared to an F.
