Re: My custom ergonomic Suka-style

I am typing on this right now, and sometimes I accidentally touch the pin, which - due to my miserable hacking skills - activates another layer with k,l and i as mousebuttons. That is a clever idea. Maybe it'll work better if you delay the layer activation. Let's say you hit the trackpoint and it a...

Interessant. Welche Tastatur hat PCB-mounted switches und Hintergrundbeleuchtung,...

I can't find the 75g version. I've got the Omron version in 75g in stock, but not yet listed. I people are interested, I can stock the 150g version from Cherry. Omron is a high quality manufacturer, so this would be no disadvantage and both have the same measures. Do you have Omrons with angled pin...

I've used a knife (read: thin sheet of metal/plastic) to open up some Kailh switches. Stick it between the top housing clip and the bottom of the switch and try to lever the clip up using the knife blade. I only did this to a handful of switches, don't how it is for a complete keyboard. o3zZz2P.jpg ...

Cherry indeed takes longer because there are many more orders from keyboard manufacturers than a few years ago. I hope they can step-up their production in the near future. I feel like they'll be overrun by the Chinese switch manufacturers in both quality and quantity. For example Truly Ergo...

Why are the MXLOCKs delayed? Does Cherry take so long to manufacture them? Or aren't there enough orders? If so, how many do we still need?

One of the SYM100 should be mine, and I certainly don't mind a trackpoint hole. Thanks for the info! I guess the other one ...
