Re: IBM 3278 Beam Spring
Let the man sell his board in peace, IMO. He's not doing anything shady - in fact it was wise for him to come here and get a price estimate.
Having said that, I would just take the 2k that was offered to him if I were in his shoes. No need to let it sit on eBay for a few weeks.

Typing video added and I adjusted the price by $50. I think with the converter this is about where I want to be insofar as sale price. Message me if you're at all interested, though!

Indeed they are! Apologies to everyone for the delayed typing demo - it’s still gonna happen! Been watching my girls the last two days but tomorrow they are in daycare so I’ll have time to upload one then!

They are lovely keyboards! 760 is a pretty insane price though, holy cow. Mine weren't cheap either, but they weren't 760 expensive.

I did some fun stuff with a dc-3014 of mine: https://i.ibb.co/TcB6skb/IMG-6444.jpg https://i.ibb.co/Dt7S2Lv/IMG-6453.jpg https://i.ibb.co/hfg23H5/IMG-6454.jpg It's got SKCL cream alps as it's main switch type, then an SKCL grey for the spacebar. If you remove the top housing and take out the slider, you should be able to poke the stem through from the bottom of the slider

[SOLD] NOS Zenith Z150
Pics here: https://imgur.com/a/mhjQ95x For sale is a NOS z150 with SKCL green alps and AE doubleshot keycaps. Probably the most notable thing about this particular board is that it works with an AT-to-PS/2 adapter. This is the only black label board I've owned that has such a characteristic. Normal...

I don't think I would personally classify 500 and 800 as "in the same league." That's a 60% increase.

This pre-built tofu comes close: https://kbdfans.com/products/fully-asse ... 0-keyboard
If you add switches it is around $200. You can get some cheap taihao caps to throw on there.

Re: How did you found your internet nickname?
The original final fantasy VII changed my life - I would not be who I am today without that video game helping me when I was younger. Every online name I've ever used has stemmed from that game. I used to go by Tifa n back in my WoW days, but since then I've used gainsborough to signify the next cha...

not much to gamble. Should be blue alps. Great price too. Blue Alps models, don't have STAFF in the model name. Is that exclusive to the k2AX? I was able to find one picture of a counter example, but it's a K101 board. I think e3e has a k9AX with STAFF in the name as well, but i'm not sure. https:/...
