I've got them sorted now. Will list tonight. Only one complete UK board and it's in the worst possible banana yellow.

Prices I think will be 10 Euros for the worst ones, 15 for decent, 20 for the best ones

This is one of the easiest differences to spot between newly made and vintage switches. Unfortunately this is pretty common on new-stock switches and just varies from batch to batch. The switch is unlikely to malfunction and will likely work just like any other, but it is still an annoying sound if ...

I think the LED label on this one would fit a G80-5000? Is this where all the spares went? :)

I moved the boards today. As for randomizer, no. But I think we best have several tiers/groups at different prices and let people join for them. 9 boards in total.

I haven't even moved them out of the car yet. I'll do that tomorrow and we'll have to think of a fair distribution model. I still think tagging them with numbers and then everyone rolling one will be the best approach.

If you look at the legends (check left shift for example), you can see that they are not Unicomp style. Chances are that the keycaps are sourced elsewhere or at least printed elsewhere.

Are there any PBT caps for Cherry ML mount, anywhere? Signature Plastics can make them. I have one from their original "sample profile keycaps" thingie. I also think the Tanberg boards are PBT dyesub. http://deskthority.net/photos-videos-f8/tandberg-tdv-5010-cherry-g84-9021spmde-t165.html Might put...

They probably are pad printed. They made G84 boards with dyesub, pad printing and lasered caps.

Got the boards. Bad news is that over 10 of them were the rubber dome variant, which looks almost exactly like the MX one. I got 9 or 10 Cherry MX ones. Majority is German layout. I saw one or two UK layouts. Some of the boards have very uneven discoloration going on, how odd. But some are also very...

I should clarify. I don't know how many UK or German ones we would be getting. I just know that both layouts are a possibility. I would be able to cherry-pick (harhar) the first few for people who wanted a specific layout, but I don't know if there will be enough of a specific layout. That's why it ...

Interest Check: WYSE Terminal 102 Keyboards

Going through a bunch of old contacts and sources, got a chance for these: http://i.imgur.com/gzc6GeR.jpg They would be all 102 ISO layout UK or German layout. Varying conditions from "good" to "absolutely disgusting". Luck of the draw would decide these I guess. As far as I know, no PCE versions, a...

Yeah they are such nice cases! Here is a cringe story: Back in 2009 there were about 20+ or so G81-3077SAFs on eBay.de at 15 Euros a pop. No one really appreciated the value of dyesubs back then and the auction was running for several weeks with almost no buyers, despite being posted on geekhack. Th...

Sweet board sixty. That reminds me, I never really posted some good photos of my Phantom on here. Gotta do that sometime... What kind of stabilizers are you using? Cherry I'd guess? Yeah Cherry. I always preferred them for linear switches. I was actually gonna use Costar stabilizers for the Phantom...

Foam and foil: feels as bad as it sounds? Or were there ever good ones? I've surely heard of it, and probably even played with a few, but failed the ID test. Yeah white probably would be better. I would prefer to replace it entirely with a matching one though. Next best thing probably would be to use black modifiers. I'll see how that looks if I can't find a matching one.

Now that I have the chance, what keyboard(s) have you been using regularly since? I've always wondered about this, since it was assumed you had lost the interest. In the last years I still only ever used the one board I used back then most of the time. It's an ancient Korean custom called "DK Saver...

It's a G81.
They still made winkeyless G81-3000s and G81-1800s until at least a short while ago. Chances are they still do now.
I have one made in 2008. Thin, crappy PBT keycaps.

I got some of these. I have the bigger brother, too. Trivia: Cherry called this type of G80-1800 case "Prism". They also made similar ones for the 3000 line.

What's the model number on that last one? I'd guess it's a 9000 series?

One thing I'm curious about more than anything.. Where did you get those A-profile GMK RGBs in the 'RGB' folder of your imgur account?
