Re: Keyboard Photogrammetry Tutorial/Guide
Yes, meshroom is really cool and I want to love it, but it just doesn't seem to jive well with anything I try to feed it. Granted when I tried it out, I was having a hell of a time getting any set of photos to align in any software, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. Try to add a pattern to t...

Re: Keyboard Photogrammetry Tutorial/Guide
yeah I totally understand that it's way easier to move the object on a turntable and also your result speaks for itself! Great work! I was thinking of creating a CNC based system... a sort of gimbal that automatically rotates a camera around an object... Basically something like this https://www.ope...

Re: Keyboard Photogrammetry Tutorial/Guide
this is... impressive.
I read a few articles about photogrammetry and from the tests it seems that it's better to rotate the camera and not the object. basically the environment helps the algorithm to compute the object better

Re: suggestions for /dev/tty2 ?
Also for the "Side Printed" kit, the "PRT SC" key is often combined with the "SysRq" https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/SysRq#/media/Bestand:Scroll_lock-edit.jpg https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/SysRq#/media/Bestand:Scroll_lock-edit.jpg I like the side printed numpad idea. Let's see if I can pull that out....

Sorry guys, mother in law is at the hospital in critical conditions and I really don't have much time these days. I'll be back on the code as soon as possible.

Re: suggestions for /dev/tty2 ?
only the teal color heart needs to be 1-bit. On beige it still works.
I've heard the rumors about dasher/dancer too. Drop does the fuck they want, so don't ask me

Re: suggestions for /dev/tty2 ?
In the Lost+Found kit, will the heart key actually be printed in red? That looks pretty cool compared to the 8-bit black and white version from /dev/tty0. unfortunately red-on-teal doesn't work, so I'll probably have to revert to 1-bit colors. Did you give any thought to doing a commemorative /dev/...

I'd love to see a 1.25u space bar, and have the option of space bar mods, like on a HiPro or even an AT101. I never understood why keys meant to be hit with your thumb should not be convex we'll get there eventually, it's just that I can't add too many new keys in just one drop. I've added quite a ...

Re: suggestions for /dev/tty2 ?
The only thing that calls my attention is that the Bleached kit needs one R3 and one R4 1U alpha-colored keycaps. You could get away with omitting the R3 keycap (because there's two of those to replace the homing keys), but the R4 can't be omitted. yeah my bad, one of the two 1U R4 is just light gray

Re: good mouse for CAD work?
Haha, I use a Razer myself, the Razer Ouroboros. It was the only mouse I could find that was ambidextrous (I like to switch hands) and had serious functionality. Hate its stupid juvenile looks though, ffs it looks like a baby sci-fi toy. And its battery consumption, and the software. Yeah I'm not o...
