That's rather sad to hear, thought the two-column design was rather infuriating, since you can't map a normal numpad to it.

That one that you posted is from an IBM 5251 terminal, which speaks a different language from the IBM 3277/78/79 ones. 5251s were attached to mid-range computers, instead of the mainframes that the 3270 family supported.
