Unlike the Omnikey, the AT101W has a native ISO version (the AT102W)-- I'd suspect a few users here have some they could measure to avoid the issue with "which of the 92 possible ISO enter positions" You have a point, lol. But at the same time, the board is already setup for the many ISO positions,...

Now, someone should do a replacement PCB for AT101Ws. AGREED. I have started an IC for this exact project now. https://deskthority.net/group-buys-f50/at101-at101w-programable-pcb-t19110.html Updating the omnikey title to reflect another round. Not sure when I will be opening it up though...maybe in...

[IC] AT101/AT101W programable PCB
Okay, so I recently started to design a PCB to replace the one in the AT101's after being asked a couple times in my omnikey replacement PCB GB. My main issue at the moment is how to do the microcontroller, I can either use a Teensy 2.0++ and try and figure out how to fit that in the case as I can't...

Update: the logo above the LEDs is gone now(both because I regret ever putting it on and because I accidentally removed it and it can't be recovered...) I liked the logo. It had personality. I liked it originally but over time was thinking maybe it didn't fit the project, idk I was also worri...

So is there anyway to fix the issue with the first run PCBs so that they fit older 102 boards? I know you can fix the issue with the function keys to the left, but I don't know if the top function row can fit without issue(including F11 and F12 in the left F keys), but I haven't desoldered my Plus ...

Update: I received the Omnikey Plus(not 102, not sure why I said that...) and I was able to verify the different function key spacing. So with that I have edited the board to reflect the new information. What I changed was: 1) added 2 more footprint per left function switch to allow between 0.5in an...

Welp, haven't gotten to finish editing the board as the person I bought the omnikey from still hasn't dropped it off at the post office, and hasn't given a reason why or even contacted me over the past 10 days, so I may not ever get it at this rate. So the updated board is on hold until I can get th...

I will reply here so people in the future can see this. I was unaware of the different block spacing among certain models(so far the Ultra and gold label 102's are the only documented issues) which is unfortunate, the boards line up perfectly with the Ultra T and boards that don't have the connector...

Any chance you've got a firmware image we can flash for testing? I got mine yesterday and am at the halfway mark- the diodes, LEDs, and Teensy are installed, but once you start soldering switches, it becomes difficult to unwind things if you had a cold joint or bad diode. I figure if I can test it ...

For those that already received theirs, I know there are a few, please post pictures of the builds when you finish. ...

what did you use to file the holes - I've never done a mod like that. Thanks for paint details! Cheap small files from home depot(or maybe harbor freight, don't remember), cost like $5. Just get the small ones and use the circle file to open the holes. Not much effort required, the files eat the FR...

DAMN! That is gorgeous!!! What color paint is that?! I want to use it for an omnikey 101 i'm working on as well! Why didn't you solder in a pipe key switch? ALso what switches did you use? As for the mounting holes, there would be no problem forgoing all of them, right? The switches soldered to the...

By mounting hole do you mean the holes that you use to screw in the PCB with the bottom panel or the holes that secure the PCB to the mounting plate? I mean the ones that attach the PCB to the switch plate. All are off just enough that with switches installed after, they won't sit properly, so swit...

Finished building my omnikey with the PCB, which took way longer than I had expected...But really happy with the results. Everything works as I expect and programming was actually easier once the whole LED problem was solved(polarity logic in code was flipped). Also did a few fixes to the QMK firmwa...

Update: Okay just finished the default firmware, with a bit of help from TerryMathews to figure out the LED issues I was having(all code based issues). Everything works now and is fully tested, Sadly in the process I had to kill the board with the gouge on it as it was also shorting the led positiv...

Update: I have to redo the firmware as the logic for the LEDs was backwards, was lazy and used kbfirmware, so I have to setup the firmware for everyone and this may take a bit, and I want to test to make sure it works before sending the boards out as I haven't been able to test LED functionality yet.

That PCB looks awesome, dude! Thanks again for all the work you put into this! What did you "plug" your teensy into? I've never seen it so raised off the PCB like that - it looks awesome. Although, I have to admit that I've also never owned a teensy before... I just used female headers so I can mov...

I figured as much, thank you for investigating though! If you are interested and you think there might be 9 others interested, I could design a PCB to work with the AT101, AT101W, SGI Granite, or any bigfoot. I could easily do this, just need to know if the cases are different between them and if t...

I have a silly question, would this PCB theoretically fit into another chassis? Like the Bigfoot style one? I'm tempted by a better-built PCB for an SGI Granite restoration that I've had going forever. I haven't tried yet, I have an AT101W laying around, so let me check real quick. EDIT: Not withou...

Update: The PCBs just arrived, got a chance to inspect them so far, the solder pads for the attachment screws are a tad off, but those holes can be filed open safely as there are no traces near them. Will be soldering one up later today once my headers for the teensy arrive. Here is a sneak peek: 2...

Cautiously thinking/wondering out loud if these would work with a Focus plate and case after being trimmed as for an Omnikey 101? Wish I had thought of that a week or three back. In hindsight I should have signed up for one or two. I still have 8 PCBs to sell, haven't even started to promote them, ...
