Quite lucky there! My AEK 1 and M0116 came with heavy trace corrosion and what looks like an acid spillage which corroded away half the metal plate on the ADB ports and some of the orange switches :( Two of the traces are somehow cut due to corrosion too, and it seems that someone tried to sand them...

Could you perhaps make them slightly heavier so they aren't as hard to press down? I've found Bucklespring really latent due to the very long travel

If you disassemble the switch you can push it out with a really small toothpick or screwdriver flathead

Once NKRO is up I can play garry's mod and be able to fly my airplane successfully without it crashing xd

I've found that the use of foam in the form of LDPE packing closed cell foam (open celled works better imo) really helps damp out a lot of the plastic rattle and chime.

Made this thing in sketch, It's got some grips and the ability to latch onto the small protrusions on the cap either side.

To clean alps keycaps and switch assemblies use Vanish Napisan - trust pink, forget stains
