Re: Northgate OmniKey 101 review (Alps SKCM White)

I should have partnered with Chyros to get the review out before I sold the four or five OmniKeys I had :D. I now have three or four that I'm going to fast track to capitalize on this review :P FWIW, all the OmniKeys I've bought were in horrible shape when I bought them, with the exception of that ...

Re: An interactive tool for finding IBM keyboard part numbers

Aye, you enquired about this on my Discord server! My database indeed stores details of layouts and special legends (via "Layout/Language" field or "Notes" field if they're optional or something), so adding them in as a new question is in the works! The challenge is that layouts/special legends hav...

Cor! We were already in the stratosphere for these things…. A fresh review is gonna push them out into orbit. They may be “one of the most common” but they’re sure not priced like it.

Re: An interactive tool for finding IBM keyboard part numbers

Interesting suggestion from the construct above.

Would love to see the key sets integrated into the matcher. “As a clickymon master, I want to be able to easily determine which model numbers possess all of the currently integrated flow-chart attributes I like AND have cool sub legends.”

Re: Zenith Z-150 Build Help

I'm unable to help but I thought it is important to note that not all white badge Zenith Z-150s use the AT protocol. The one I recently got working uses the XT protocol and I used Hasu's IBM PC converter to get it running. 100% recommend Hasu’s ibmpc_usb firmware for this. Hasu is still in the comm...

Re: [WTB] Inner Assembly from a square badge M

You sent me a PM about this. My sales are still on hold while I figure out a long term e-commerce solution, get a better handle on my inventory, and solve some problems related to shipping. All that aside, I mostly have Terminal M innards, you would still need a controller and cable. clickykeyboard...

[WTB] Inner Assembly from a square badge M

I have a case to fill but don't want to have to destroy another keyboard to fill it. I'd rather get a rainbow backplate assembly (preferably with controller/black SDL but will consider without) where the case is FUBAR but the innards are OK or at least repairable. If you've got a busted square-badge...

Is there any known way to get 1000Hz polling on the boards? I know there is a guide for how to do this with QMK boards but I'm not sure how it would apply here since the hex files are already premade.
Build it from source so you can edit the config.h?

Since I won't get around to documenting it until I've restored it, I thought I'd just quickly mention: as expected, it has Hirose MX. Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread

One trick for IBM buckling springs that don't feel the same is to remove the cap, make sure the end of the coil is rotated to the 1200 position, tip the board so the springs fall back to the 1200 position, then reattach the cap. No idea if that works here.
