I agree. But unfortunately that’s not their business model/market.

Re: Custom Case for Zenith ZKB-7 aka Eazy PC
Easiest thing to do would be to go to Keyboard layout editor, put in your layout, upload the Json file into http://builder.swillkb.com/ which will output plate and case files. Re: Custom Case for Zenith ZKB-7 aka Eazy PC
Another option instead of the sheet metal option is to get it CNC milled. I drew this up in CAD and took it to Nashville CNC and they milled this for me for $25. https://youtu.be/7dtQqpjKWZA Bear in mind, even doing this, it’s still super tricky not to have at least one side/row of keys rub. Last op...

Re: Custom Case for Zenith ZKB-7 aka Eazy PC
That sucks. Unfortunately making a full size case from scratch is very hard but not impossible. Trickiest thing for me is getting the cutout not to rub up against the keys. Tolerances are super tight. Check you my still in progress Xerox build for my method. https://deskthority.net/viewtopic.php?t=2...

Do you have a ps/2 port you can plug it into?

Re: Should I lube my model f stabs?
I’ve never felt this grainy feeling on the stabs. I assume they are thoroughly cleaned. It may be a good idea to just get some new ones from unicomp. I wouldn’t recommend it certainly on an M as any kind of moisture is bad for the membrane. I probably wouldn’t do it on the F either but I’m not sure....

Re: Great/Interesting Finds
Phoenix stems are clones of the Aristotle stems, but with better keycap alignment and can be purchased as loose stems or assembled with decent housings. I haven't tried box pinks, but the box whites I tried were good. It's a good time to be a clicky fan, the two best MX clone options (phoenix and b...

Re: Great/Interesting Finds
After building Zealiostotles my conclusion is it was a fun project but lots of hassle for what is essentially a good clicky switch when I can just go out and buy box pinks which I think are better.

Depends how foreign. I just built this.
For someone who regularly pilots battleships, this is quite the adjustment.
