Forget the pcb, no need for it. handwiring would be easier than patching together a chopped pcb. getting the case to looks good after the cut is the big deal here. if you screw up the case on this though its really no big deal, at101ws are dirt common anyway. Its a pretty neat idea if you can pull i...

Definitely gonna have to disagree there. I can't stand spring ping, especially on alps and BS. Back when I still had a model f It was floss modded, and I have lubed the springs lf my skcl browns and skcm blues. IMNSHO blue alps (in a nice plastic backed chassis) are the only clicky switches with a d...

Great keyfeel, great noise, ~$100 for a completely new one. Other new fullsize mechs that price are mostly RGB junk or a barebones Cherry G80 without a backplate. meh... keyfeel is a quite subjective factor so I'll leave that out... but im not a fan noise? no thanks And in my opinion there aren't a...

Just ordered two Cherry MX G80s. One G80-11900LTMUS and one G80-8113LRDUS-2 both NIB. I'm pretty sure they'll have vintage blacks so it will be interesting to see how NIB vintage blacks will stand up to NIB SKCC greens. They'll also be my first MX boards so I guess If I don't like MX black Ill be a...

Just missed this strange beast ("vintage PC in a keyboard") - my bid came in second. Possible blue ALPS? It also has weird colours on some keys (e.g. green tab and enter legends, blue horizontal and red vertical arrows?!). I'm beginning to really regret not having placed a higher bid - but as I was...

Instead of linear box switches I would always recommend retooled Cherry mx black switches, they are smooth and as we know for over 30 years now they are designed perfectly. And with 20ct per switch they are also the cheapest option out there: https://www.arrow.com/en/products/mx1a-11nn/cherry-ameri...
