(also, ISO!) I can't be the only person on Earth who does the combination ANSI/ISO thing? Can I? ANSI enter/|\ ISO left shift plus additional Nope, Ive grown to quite like it actually, my backspace is the wrong profile as well which makes hitting it a little easier, although this does make hitting ...

I have a NeXT non-ADB in US ANSI layout. I like the form factor and overall appearance. The Hasu converter works well, and I was able to remap the board to a HHKB-ish layout. Minor quibbles: the case is a fingerprint magnet, and I prefer clicky Alps switches. Was saying to Mu earlier, if I do get i...

I don't post great finds very often. So listen up! How do you fancy some NeXT keyboards? Here's a bunch, in America. I just bought 6. Well, 1 for me and the others for a little group buy. The seller actually has ANSI, Spanish and German (and I think maybe French) boards available. I got in touch wi...

@HzFaq: Does your Apple mini have damped cream Alps? Like the silent mx reds, they are damped on both the down stroke and return stroke, but unlike silent mx reds, they are tactile, whereas the silent reds are linear. That particular board has standard dampened creams but I have tried modded dampen...

Right, mopping done. I won't comment on the wobblecam as I had you audio only, the bit I did see... I know you mentioned both, but I would recommend a replacement controller as well as a detachable cable mod if you plan on spending any time with the Filco. Detachable cable mods used to be pretty pre...

Yeah, good idea, it’s more of an audio than a visual experience! By the way, I must ship you that NeXT when I’m back from the New World. I'd totally forgotten about that, will drop you a message when the mopping has been done. Seems apt to come up on the topic of silent keyswitches... Hey µ, one of...

I mean, it's a 5 year bump and I'm not around all that much these days so to quote me when I'm around is too much of a coincidence for me not to reply :) . I've been using a CST L-Track for probably 4 years now and haven't had any pain anywhere from mousing. Alongside that though, I have moved exclu...

I'm almost positive this isn't anything special switch wise, but it is a reversible keyboard/midi controller!

Great review as ever, I think orange alps are my favourite alps switches. Definitely the loudest non-clicky switch in my collection though. I love the strange layout on older Apple boards, most of my collection at this point is odd layout Apple boards. Fun fact, that converter (should, IIRC) let you...

I just got mine back out, I think the closest comparison I can find for the KPT whites (in my collection) is the OA2 switches in my Lil' Big Board. I actually quite like them, if the keycaps didn't feel like greasy shit and the case was a bit sturdier I might actually consider using it a bit more...
