I added a new page with some images. I also noticed that there is another "notch" on linear clears, and "south" facing part of the cross is actually sloped. Hope pictures give enough evidence.

I talked with some people familiar with older USSR keyboards and seems like the word "ЗАБОЙ" ("ЗБ") and "ВШ" was just used on different systems. They're both good for "Backspace" imo. So if it all boils down to a preference on what word to use I would vote for "ЗАБОЙ".

Totally agree with @joric here. We also can use ГОСТ (which means Государственный Стандарт - State Standard) as a reference http://docs.cntd.ru/document/gost-14289-88 . It describes most of the keys we listed, outside of ЭКР, and, for obvious reasons, MENU, SUPER, FN and OS.

Yeah, that was my bad, I missed the "ESC" key, but it's actually were there and it's called "ВЫХ" which is short for "ВЫХОД" - "EXIT". Hey! Really sorry for a late reply. The problem with Russian mods is that there were not that many keyboards with Russian only mods. Most of the time English letters were used, even on soviet union made computers. Even now, pretty much everyone here is using plain transliteration from English to Rus...

Nice keyboards. I would like to find one like it myself one day.
They both even came with the original Ukranian replacement keys
Judging by the picture it actually came with original Belorussian keycaps too! That letter "Ў" is not present in Russian or Ukranian alphabet.
