Stuff I got in China (Poll)
If there's no photo or photo does not match description. I give up. Spend the last two and a half hours editing this multiple times since photo somehow won't show up correctly... As the title says, I got some keyboard/keyboard related stuff from China. It's gonna be a long post. Here's an overview o...

Re: Great/Interesting Finds
Actually the photo makes it look like the guy himself ordered it on ebay, was disappointed in what it turned out to be, and decided to chuck it off to someone else  I think there's a high possibility of rubber domes here lol. There's a white one on ebay that looks the same(well of course excep...

Re: Great/Interesting Finds
Scrolling through ebay this morning and found this mysterious gem . Some googling revealed that this is a keyboard for IBM PC clones made in Taiwan. One person found MX Black switches in it but it was from a beige colored keyboard. Maybe someone here is willing to take a chance on it for <$100USD s...

Re: Help: Beamspring 3101 controller won't slide off
It could just be the fly plate getting bent out of shape. Though, I'm not sure if that's realistic. In any case, I mention it because it's something that you can easily adjust. https://deskthority.net/viewtopic.php?p=445433#p445433 Yeah I did saw that but i am not sure that's the case with mine sin...

Re: Help: Beamspring 3101 controller won't slide off
Now I wouldn't really say the beamsprings wear out, but you might consider swapping that slider with the other spacebar one. I'm not sure about the beams themselves, but these switches in whole do wear out. I have a pretty heavily used beamspring 3278 as my daily driver and the heavily used keys(ca...

It isn't? xD I see people with iphones and apple laptops and itablets EVERYWHERE! Re: Unpopular opinions thread
Ok, it's time for an unpopular opinion: The backspace icon should never have been an arrow, considering all other arrows in the keyboard indicate movement. The ⌫ symbol (and ⌦ for the Delete key) from the typewriter era should have been retained, and that would have led us to live in a slightly hap...

You can use xwhatsit to replace the controller, or common sense, pro micro works too.
Congrats you just found one of the rarest keyboard IBM made.
