Yikes. Can't say I blame you. I can't pretend that I wouldn't sell a significant money-sink (iirc someone mentioned ~300$/mo in hosting fees) for big bucks. I'm sure people will be very pious and puritan about "not selling out", but they're not the ones in debt from it. And hey, worst-case scenario,...

Good catch - I'm not sure if it is compatible. You might need to get the Alps plate and a normal case.Nuum wrote: ↑Careful, the bent steel case might not be Alps compatible or is it possible to have one hole for both types of switches, MX and Alps?

A cheaper Preonic alternative is to get an XD75, which supports Alps: - $30 shipped for the PCB: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/-/32831044551.html - $30 bent steel case + plate: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/stainless-steel-bent-case-for-xd75-60-custom-keyboard-acrylic-panels-acrylic-diffuser/328...

There are command-line utilities: scas: Soarer's Converter Assemble - takes a .sc keymap file and converts it into a .bin file that you can flash scwr: Soarer's Converter Write - takes a .bin file produced by scas and writes it to the converter Assuming you're on Windows, there should be a .bat file...

I don't think those are supposed to be thicker, but rather made for dye sublimation as they're made of PBT Also see the previous announcement about SA-P on that page: This new SA-P tooling has thick, uniform walls i.e.no first shot void to fill, and is designed for PBT shrink. It seems to imply tha...

I think that a full 75% is going to be kind of overkill. Do people heavily use F-keys for HTPC uses? I would go larger than a planck though. I find 40%s unusably small, even for HTPC use-cases. Would be a pain in the ass trying to figure out how to type Symbol X that you need for entering a local sm...
