I think the Hang Up key would come in handy.
The analogue W.P.M. meter on that ASCII keyboard is to die for.

Not great, but interesting (sort of). Could be useful for putting your Model M under your laptop:

Re: Great/Interesting Finds
F122 with metal plug, but not that kinda metal plug. I would speculate that the 138xxxx model number makes this a Model M, not a Model F. Very unusual sub-legends that I haven't seen before. It's a Model F. It has the metal pan and Model F label. I'm really curious as to what the small print on the...

They don't come in ANSI, but they can be ANSI modded. As a frequent user of an F122 and ANSI fan I can say that getting used to ISO isn't so bad considering the advantages. I turned the Brackets key on mine into an Enter key to create a pseudo Bigass Enter. Works for me.

Awesome work with the photogrammetry. It's pretty cool being able to inspect keyboards that I probably won't ever see IRL. I was wondering if you ever thought about using these scans to 3D print molds for vacuforming clear plastic dust covers for keyboards?

Oh my God I just found out about this project. Ellipse you are a madman! Is there a new website or will these be available to buy on the modelf website? And can you tell me what the difference between the 104 and 84 key versions are? I am guessing it's like the full size minus the number keypad?......

Just registered my interest for the 104-key with great anticipation. I'll have to cull most of my collection for this, but this is definitely my destination keyboard. You are a sorcerer, Ellipse.

I know this post probably belongs in Workshop, but I thought it would be appropriate to post it here. I mentioned that I was going to restomod a Model M 1390120, so here is the finished project. I cleaned it, bolt modded it, and gave it lock lights to basically turn it into a 1390131. Here are the p...

I've used this three-step polishing system on acrylic sheets and got pretty good results. I've never used it on keycaps though. A polishing wheel would certainly make life easier. There are also foam attachments which you could put on a drill.

... Finally, I want to 'robotise' a keyboard as something fun to do. Nothing hugely expensive or rare will be used for it, but I'm currently deciding between tank tracks or one of my currently-disused robot spiders (well technically, they're hexapods) as the 'driver' for it. Why? Because, why not! ...

I'm attempting my first bolt mod on a mangled Model M 1390120 that I'm resto-modding. I'd also like to get back to work on the Sperry keyboard I started on awhile back.
