Re: G80-1800 HPMDE (German layout, with winkeys)

This is a really awesome board with a really iconic layout. I have a similar one which is my current daily driver atm, and I really enjoy using it. GLWS :)

Really happy to see this board has found such a nice home. Thanks for taking good care of it.
Thanks, and again thanks for selling it to me in the first place. A (for me at least) perfect first Cherry board as well as a first board to clean up.

Re: Cherry appreciation topic

Very cool boards, I am always suprised to see a 150X branded something else than the *insert long german word about sick* ones that are so common One has to admit though that "Chip Carte" doesn't have the same presence and ring to it as "Krankenversichertenkarte" has ;) And yes, these seem to be no...

Inspired by the recent post, here is some more love shown for this topic in the form of two Desko branded 1500-based boards. #1. Re: Cherry appreciation topic

I just picked this vintage Cherry MY-Board up, de-gunked it - and let me tell you: the sound, oh the sound: Congrats on finding this board, you did a terrific job on cleaning it. Can't say anything about the feel of MY switches myself either as I've yet to try them, but main thing is that you like ...

Hopefully you'll be able to recover from having to use this thing during your testing week :D

The perfect way to commemorate this board would be to organize an IC for GMK EZ Eyes...

Here is a Unitek K-156? Appears to be documented in the wiki.

What type of switch is this? I mean, look at the stem in the last picture ... lovely caps, but I don't think they'd fit anywhere else.
Looks like a variation of Cherry M7 series with a straight bar mount, but I could be wrong though.

Re: Great/Interesting Finds

Man, I have to give credit to some eBay sellers, they document their product much better than some members of the community  I'll add it later on :) Yes, the seller really did a great job documenting the board in this listing. Stunning looking sphericals on this board btw, the board seems to b...

This model seems to be undocumented in the Cherry database as well. The listed price is on the pricy side, but the seller takes offers.

This post (or something similar) should be on the front page, or somehow pinned in the Spy or Board, so that it would always be visible when one visits the forum to encourage people to de-lurk ;) Great idea :)

Cherry G80-3000 HGD

Decided to create this post in order to have a reference for the Cherry database and to check if anyone might know anything about this particular boards article number. Simple, elegant, my MX endgame. I love it. Simply beautiful :) As an customs uninitiated may I ask what board this is? KMAC? Also, are the keycaps Ansi dyesubs? Re: Realforce R2 PFU Limited Edition

Inspired by this review of the factory silenced R2 I decided to pull the plug on a silenced Realforce. I however finally landed on the 87UW(S?) or "Low noise" version. Mainly because I personally like the old case design more, but I was also curious about the variable weighting. I must say I was ver...

Testing out the concept of a leftside numpad, a simple one didn't suffice (will do a post on it). so I finally did what I wanted to do when I first got the M50 and installed it as leftside numpad PLUS extras. Still a work in progress, but I'm liking this setup so far (bezel excess notwithstanding)....

Re: Recommendation (Tactile switches board)

Are there custom keycaps for the Realforce 87U that you'd recommed? Readily available custom aftermarket keysets and keyset for Topre in general are unfortunately kinda scarce. The only one I can think of is the Kbdfans 9009 set. Don't know anything about the quality of the set though. I use 88U 45...
