Re: The mystery of DT's new owner - SOLVED
Hi All, Deskthority was acquired by OneCommerce with the purpose of growing its community and facilitating the growth of the platform. Indeed, the domain name was registered in order to use OneCommerce for Mechanical Keyboards. As a Startup, it is fair to say that the acquisition of Deskthority had...

Re: The mystery of DT's new owner - SOLVED
Good evening everyone, Please excuse the delay in responding to all of your comments, do allow me to first introduce myself. I came across this forum serendipitously when seeking advice about how to adapt my keyboard to make it more personable for my office, which had banned it for making too much ...

Re: What's your list of beige whales?
I want an Unsaver with the matching external numpad, however that seems unlikely... Would settle for an F107 :D This hurts, I will NEVER get that numpad. (not willing to pay 2 grand lmfaoo) Yes, board X has a slightly different case/layout/color that is less common than board Y but they both ...

Re: Dear Model F owners, can we talk? (Long rant)
What I will agree with, very very cautiously, is that I had the opposite response with beam spring. Now bear in mind here that my entire experience typing on a beam spring keyboard is probably mere seconds, less than a minute, pushing keys on one that somebody else owned and had sitting in the boot...

Re: Dear Model F owners, can we talk? (Long rant)
Nice rant, but I think the F keyswitch is way smoother, crisper, and just overall better than the model M in every way. It's also at the perfect weighting whereas the M is too heavy for my tastes and tires out my fingers. Also the sound from an F is also 10x better in my opinion. The only M I use is...

Why is everyone making WTS posts without a price??? Just means people have to go back and forth in PM's for no reason.

That is so cool. I guess this was sent to companies who manufactured keyboards to see whether they would choose alps over the competition.

Re: Seeking Soarer - evidence thread
I've been very stern in making it clear that we can't make assumptions regarding Soarer's state (and mindset), so I'll have to make a point here: we don't know if he "did" or "did not" follow all good practices — regarding sofware development, the code running in Soarer's converter is pretty much a...

Re: Seeking Soarer - evidence thread
A record of a good faith effort does not have to be on a public forum. Notice I said "private record". There is no legal reason you have to include his real name or address in any of your posts. Keep a private record of it in the form of dated emails to your lawyer (you can afford a lawyer but not ...

Well, he is an authority and his knowledge and access to resources are what make him well suited to this particular endeavour if it's a route that the community want to take. This thread honestly feels like all those "I want to remake blue alps" threads where the OP doesn't actually have any product to show and doesn't actually want to do the work to get to that point either. I'm not really sure why anyone is surprised this thread isn't going well. If you aren't willing...

1. Someone (call her Alice) verifies that compiling the Antonizoon source produces a hex blob that is a drop-in-replacement for Soarer's. Can't be me as I don't have a Windows machine or the Windows dev tools. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10ISO https://www.microsoft.com/...
