I'm sure I read a review once which made a real issue about the noise; I just presumed if that was the case that they would VERY loud.

Have you had a little go on the M15 yet? Is it ridiculously loud as people say they are?

Should be. Basically you have two options: I did a similar mod like this before on an older Apple keyboard, where I remapped the capslock to be a "shift-lock". The idea is that you get some type of isolation (shrink tube, tape) and wrap it around the pins on the switch you wish to remap after desol...

There is a sem easy way to do this. But it will require soldering. Would you be interested? Hmmm, well, I promised myself that was going to be the only board I owned that I didn't end up taking a soldering iron to.. I guess it depends on whether it can be reversed easily (would help if I ever come ...

i´ve googled it and it doesn´t seem technicaly possible ( has to send the same signal). only way would seem to change the firmway (as mentioned in your link) or using a combination of keys Edit: under special keys is a description how to capture the scancodes http://www.autohotkey.com/docs/KeyList....

Obviously it uses a switch for each side of the spacebar but I don't know if they are two different signals..? How would one find out?

Remapping left spacebar to backspace (G80-5000, Windows 7)

Hi guys/girls I have been using a Kinesis advantage for a while now and I have just started using a G80-5000; great keyboard, but my hands think that the backspace is on the left thumb (like it is on the Kinesis). Seen as I never use the left space for its intended purpose, I was wondering whether i...

Nice find with the M15! I can't remember the last time I saw a NIB M15 for sale. Recent used M15s on ebay have been selling for approx 600USD (but them I'm sure you already knew that).

I would have thought that a serious collector would be willing to pay big bucks to get his/her hands on that!

This is the thing that gets me. I'm sure it has been discussed at length on here (and GH), but it is his complete lack of respect for the people who are in effect financing this keyboard (again without explicitly telling them they were at the beginning). Purely because he can't respond to emails hon...

The ONLY things that spoils the Kinesis for me are those damn rubber F buttons. If Kinesis were to get rid of those they would have the perfect keyboard IMO (I don't like the plastic Maltron use).

Truly Ergonomic changed the delivery date again. According to their website, they pushed it further out, this time to July, and that's for pre-orders! I also read somewhere that they will add dip switches to configure it for Mac/Windows/etc. This probably means the keyboard is still under developme...
