I understand I am a divisive "person". Folks question the financial straights that prompted me to sell GH. (believe me, those are real...bankruptcy is, probably, around the corner) Anyways. I am simply here to ask the question... Should I abandon the "iMav" persona? I can abandon all accounts and s...

funny timing. I just fixed my UK78 yesterday, switching from stupid BAE back to ISO. I even used the small ISO from Tektronix set to test the gap. I can say my Saver twins are finally done done after all these times tweaking around. Good luck with your project. https://i.imgur.com/AyTs6kc.jpg?1 http...

Re: Alps plate spring custom build log (work in progress)

There are and there arent. There are 3 types of alps plate springs but they are mostly just the usual inconsistency of Alps Electric. They function exactly the same from one to another. So you have: 1. 2-pins Plate mount APS 2. 6-pins Square pcb-mount APS, sometimes the top housings are black, somet...

I was bored so here we go, please see attached Omni03.JPG The gaps where I marked with color pens are spaced evenly if they are of the same colors. Re: Xerox DocuTKL: An Alps TKL

I'm doing the keyboard pcb guide in kicad and ran into an issue. Wondering if anyone out there might be able to help me. I noticed once I put all the components on the pcb that I mixed up Gnd/Vcc in my schematic. I fixed the error in the schematic but I'm not sure how to make the change propagate o...

That adds like 10 cool points. Is it AT protocol? I haven't gotten mine to work yet.
Yea it's AT, you will be disappointed when you convert the thing, very lazy engineering. Also the pcb has to curve hence it's so thin.

That is a very healthy cable, mine was too short so I had to splice it to add some length.

Force Curve In order to make sure I am not crazy I compared the internals of all 3 switches: SKCL green, Box Black, and Vintage Black. Side by side, you could see the evolution of springs' diameters. Cool idea, I suggest keeping the bracket keys cluster together. On the home row, swap the positions of ] and ' keys. Just like the ibm multi station.

The spacebar is abs while the rest are thick pbt with interesting colorway: white mods, milky alphas, and gray f-row
