Re: Cherry MX Black Clear Top (Nixie Blacks)

Wow, clear top MX blacks. Wake me up when Cherry does something actually interesting. Like a working smooth switch, that seems beyond their capability here. Maybe in another Dimension, they might actually be quite decent. Cannot wait to see people's complaints when they realize they've paid a huge ...

Re: Cherry MX Ergo Clear

Has it even been confirmed that production of MX Clears have got new tooling? Maybe spending their allotted budgets, but may never happen again any time soon, due to the current recession and ongoing failures. It was never a switch that Cherry seems to have sold that many of. It was mainly for Indu...

Yeah, Drop pricing is getting into Zealio Territory here, not good at all :( . You can get better switches elsewhere, at a lower cost especially when you have many 108 keyboards. But if you have a 60 keyboard, then these might be worth it here. Just to experience the Panda Supreme Effect  . I...

Can't believe that ALPs is still around during 2022. It's something that never dies here on this Forum. Good to see a Chinese firm is supplying ever more key-caps because you can never have too many key-caps, under your roof. Far cheaper than having actual Keyboards these days, just wish they would ...

Love their commitment to supply a decent keyboard, that you can apply any style of MX swi...

"There are better choices out there at the same price-point," not just because they're terrible switches or anything. But a "K76M Fun" keyboard in black with blue-switches without the ORS system basically doesn't exist. The funny thing was that all you could buy a few years back were those "Blue" like switches, the click are sublime. Not many liked the sound of Clicks back then, how things change during 2022...

Yeah, these do have a high death count in switches  . The ones that fail, go into the bin immediately. Have actually bought about 327 of them, about 12 were turfed away, so do expect some dead/sick switches, within that amount. Not many, when you consider how many were purchased in the beginni...

Yeah, thin keyboards are the pits. Have never even bothered to waste any money on one, because it's best buying a REAL solid depth keyboard, that would last for decades. The Feeling is where it's at, something the anorexic keyboards lack severely. You might as well draw key caps on cardboard and typ...

Actually liked the key caps on this keyboard.

Despite it being only engraved into the key cap material. They should've produced an injected model, but who knows, too expensive for this style of keyboard?

They just cut and run instead of spending any more money on it......

Wasn’t there a poor man’s version of Topre? Sometimes you have to get the Topre outright and decide for yourself why it's a unique switch with it's typing feel. Buying cheap copies denies you the outright feeling of using Topre from the get go, it's like pretending to have hardcore sex with your gi...

I like the sound quite a lot, shame they're so expensive. The really GOOD switches, tend to always be slightly higher in cost. Best to suffer the cost than suffer another day's use, of a standard Cherry MX designed switch. Have already put in an order for these clicky-babies, nice release for 2022.
