Re: Model F project introduces 104/SSK models
These new models are a great idea. I'd still go for an F62, if I were to invest in a repro, but having these models available to those who favour more modern layouts makes a lot of sense to me.

Re: Dear Model F owners, can we talk? (Long rant)
Your Kish? I think I was too dazzled by it's beauty and aura! Not to mention the beamer! Sadly, I cannot recall my impressions of the key feel. This may have been because I thought, with the few moments my fingers graced it's keys, that it felt similar enough to my XT to pay little attention to my e...

Re: Dear Model F owners, can we talk? (Long rant)
My first working M's switch weight was so heavy, I thought, I get why people rave about Fs. I couldn't daily drive it, not for lack of trying. I got a restored F and it was (/still is) great. Plus, as a HHKB user, I appreciate Ctrl being in the correct place. However, I prefer the look of the M, so ...

Re: How do you store your keyboards?
I did once have enough boards to warrant overspill storage - no longer! Though, now I have more space, it could be filled with keyboards

[WTT/B - UK] [W] XT Boards & HHKB
I have a good few boards to shift and a few that I want. So, want, I like XT layouts. In terms of switches, I'll consider anything. Keyboard must be in working condition. I'm also after white HHKBs; preferably Pro 2s, but will consider Hybrids. I have a few boards to move on. The NMBs are from the S...

Re: How do you store your keyboards?
Having just moved into my new gaff but not quite being unpacked yet, they're split between two shelves. Bottom shelf, staying, top shelf, going. There is a yet unpacked box full of garbage that will probably stay unpacked for months. Then I usually have two per desk; whatever I fancy for work that w...

Thanks for the reply, Phinix. The sub legends are what I'm after though, as nice as the Ivory R2 sets are.

Re: GOOD Cherry MX Switches
I rate Glorious/blag (Feker) Pandas. Bit of lube and I find it hard to distinguish between the two. I used to like MX Clears, but that was many keyboards ago! My fingers have much more experience now, so I don't think my appreciation of them would still be valid.

Re: Have there ever been any attempts to make MX mount sliders for a Model M?
Here we go, this was the most promising one: Lot Lizard explored MX mount Model M sliders as part of his audacious Model MF project: Again, the first step in all of this is getting the drop-in replacement working for both the 84 and 101-key M's, but am using this thread as part of a bunch of stuff ...

Re: How did I do for $130?
Welcome to DT!
As has been said above, the board in the back corner likely contains some variety of Alps or Alps clones. Could be branded Opus. My money is on Pine Whites, but you could get lucky with some Blues in there. Let us know what they end up being. Hoping that it all arrives unscathed.

I rate these switches too. I've got Glorious Pandas, and these. When lubed, it's hard for me to tell the difference.

[WTB - UK/EU] HHKB caps
I'm looking to jazz up my ninja board. I've been looking at a few sets of caps for a while but I was hoping to find a set with the appropriate HHKB sub legends too; most of it is muscle memory, but since I swap out boards on my desk every other week, I sometimes get caught out. Anyone have anything ...

Re: HHKB for work use?
For me and many people, the HHKB has the Fn layer all other keyboards must obey! I'm one of the many people. I do not like small form factor boards. I prefer full size for work use ...BUT, HHKB, is different. I've found the fn layer layout is particularly intuitive. I don't go into my work's office...

Re: Some videos I've made about my keyboards
Good lord! I don't know which board I'm more fond of! That F without the foam is ridiculous. I took my F XT into the office last week; my colleagues lasted about four hours before someone piped up and said they couldn't handle it any more  I usually treat them to my HHKB Type-S. What would they...

You've lost me with the Peerless, but yeh MaxiSwitch D/S are similar enough to Topre. I found MaxiSwitch first and liked 'em straight away.

[TRADED] Zenith Z-150 AT
Even with this board's stunning good looks, rarity and excellent build quality, it upsets me say that it doesn't do it for me in terms of key feel and sound. It was at the top of my list for so long. I love the layout too! Alas, I'll only keep a keyboard I actually use, I'm not a collector in that r...
