New post [Keyboards] Identify this weird kpt switch clone? Idk what it is
Cool. I was thinking that it felt remarkably similar to an alps switch. It didn't bind as much as KPT blues do.

Sorry for the late reply, I was off for some years ...
The .hex file you started from is mine, described here, in this thread, on page 2 . FWIW, I'd recommend starting from the revised verion described a few posts later .
Looks like you're about to embark on a journey I took about 8 years ago, which

New post [Keyboards] Almost got fired over my keyboard
I use my branch of chrisandreae's firmware: https://github.com/hercek/keyboard-firmware
At the time I was deciding, it was the only one with the proper on-the-fly macro and remap features. A possibility to define macros/programs in a GUI application (likely something like Vial for QMK now) was only

New post [Keyboards] Help With 1981 Key Tronic Magnetic Reed Board
That's seriously old school. What do the switches feel like?
Worst case, you could cut the traces and hardwire your own matrix. There are lots of DIY keyboards out there with a forest of wires inside.

New post [Keyboards] What the hell is this? - Cox CK30 'Blue Switch type Membrane'
