Ohh saw this one the other day. Very cool sleeper PC, but man it was a *lot* of work!
I like the 128GB floppy disk he made too :)

The SD in Floppy caddy is the best part. The Aptiva case is nice, I can't make out what keyboard he's using though.

I think it might be an NMB RT-101 or some variant. Case definitely looks like it to me.

I saw this last week. Really amazing mod! I love the floppies so much.

I saw the keyboard and was pretty sure it was some NMB thing at the time too.

So he turned a fugly PC into a fugly PC *shrug*. At least no real computers were harmed!

I think you are missing the point if that's the conclusion you drew. The idea of a sleeper is to have high performance hiding beneath an unassuming or (subjectively) ugly looking exterior. It's just to mess with people for a bit of fun :)

Makes me want to find an XT case or XT clone and do something similar . Some of the PS/2 towers where pretty sexy too.

Still i love this mod! .

You can fit mATX boards in some crazy places... If you do find a project, be sure to photograph it!

I found a PS/1 desktop in the trash the other day. The desktop box is very Meh, and no keyboard.... :(

No, to keep in with what else he has done, he's missing a programmable, bluetooth, backlit RGB Cherry MX board hiding under the casing and keycaps of a Model M.
