Ha... it's probably a G80-3000 model... and they use it as foot rest.
I think this looks like a big piece of junk.
If I was going to make chair out of keyboard part... I would use a metal chair and drill to 100% cover it in MY switch. They have enough resistance that they should nicely conform to the person sitting much in the idea of memory foam so theoretically it could be quite comfortable as far as hard surface chair goes.
