Worst case, you can use the springs from that board. They are similar in weight to blues/browns/reds. I really like them and have them in use right now.Mrinterface wrote:Next one :
Chicony kb-5191 with cherry white/clear????? Some click, some don't... Very strange.
Ruined board though.

Ahahah! I think it's kind of a bad pun that IBM put a speaker only in their silent keyboard! And the speaker is silent as well!webwit wrote:If I remember correctly, it does nothing.Grond wrote:So what does the speaker do? It beeps for error or what?
However, according to clickykeyboards:
http://www.clickykeyboards.com/index.cf ... /id/309465Keyboard has built-in internal speaker (not controllable or accessible by Windows operating system, probably a special feature used for system beeps associated with the original IBM computer that this keyboard was bundled with)

Update :
Got a chicony KB-5191 with cherry blues. I guess those are real cherry blues since they are marked cherry.

If you've got a board with beige enGB layout which you fancy shifting the caps on I'd take them off your hands, I want to replace the caps on my work board as when people come over to my desk they get highly confused at the qwertz layout... *facepalm*
Or even a whole board, if you're not looking for all *that* much.
