I use Contour Rollermouse on all of my keyboards, so physical width isn't an issue from an ergonomics point of view.
I've been out of the keyboard scene for ages, I wondered if anyone is making a modern battleship keyboard (other than Lexmark) these days? I don't recall seeing anything out there.
I'm ideally looking for at least 10/12 function keys on the left for example.
Cheers, Mark.

The modern customs scene has mostly gravitated towards small form factor (sub-TKL) keyboards, but a notable exception is the Hyper7 kit, as well as the Modern Unsaver project (which I believe is currently in limbo). Those were just the ones I could think of off the top of my head, but I have no doubts that ones exist that fit your criteria.

When I last looked at this the Corsair Vengeance K95 was about the only mechanical keyboard out there which approached battleship status...

Hyper 7 looks the ticket (I do actually still dabble in APL) but I'm guessing they are vapourware for mere mortals?headphone_jack wrote: ↑13 May 2022, 21:03The modern customs scene has mostly gravitated towards small form factor (sub-TKL) keyboards, but a notable exception is the Hyper7 kit, as well as the Modern Unsaver project (which I believe is currently in limbo). Looks like they actually were a (build your own) thing, once:

The “Thousand Keys” section at the bottom may be your jam!

There's the open source Boston project:
https://github.com/bluepylons/Boston
There's a group buy for it that's unfortunately closed for now, but could possibly do another run after this current one is fulfilled.

You could also get a Deko Fast Action keyboard:
https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R ... n&_sacat=0
I would love a brand new Battleship style keyboard, but sadly we're in the minority for wanting huge keyboards.

Apparently Steelseries used to make a keyboard with around 137 keys. Saw it on a local ad a few days ago, and found this gem of a promo video. Unfortunately the later generations slimmed down on the keys a bit.

I was going to post, "Have you talked to kbdfr, yet?"
I also remember some monstrosity that Chyros reviewed a while back. I'll see if I can find it. There are a couple other alternatives, too.
For me, I use a keyboard macro recorder on my iPad.

Looks like a rubber dome. One for sale on ebay. (There are actually a few, ATM.)
Can't find the one I was thinking of, but Weytec is an option: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=taAoGsiTm30. The new design from Glarses also looks pretty snazzy.

I see Unicomp still makes the PC 122 and with USB or PS2. That's basically a modern day battleship Model M.
