Hello,
I want to buy a small keyboard with arrow keys. It should not be too high (as pokers are) to prevent wrist hurts. The keycaps should be MX compatible and the layout has to be ISO German. It would be great if the stock keycaps were of good quality.
I waited for the chance to get a WhiteFox, but the last drop did not include an ISO option. Now, I'm about to order a Varmilo VA69M and wanted to ask if there is a reason I should not go for it since I cannot return it. Is it compatible with other keycaps or are there any "off-centered-surprises"? Are there alternatives to consider? Thanks! :)

Varmilos are compatible with normal keycaps. VA69 is all standard keys (unlike leopold fc660m). Stock keycaps are of great quality, they are thick pbt with SS2 profile (something between cherry and oem profile), and they offer dye subbed lettering in ISO-DE as well. Best of all, there are many color combinations, and you can even choose dye sub color.

I suggest you order directly from varmilo and specify everything to your liking.

The only thing that may be keeping you from buying it, and it did stop me, is the height. It seems to have somewhat high profile, see this: https://www.candykeys.com/wp-content/up ... 05/2-1.png. I have seen people using wrist wrests with it, but I don't like that because it ruins the concept of a small keyboard.

If you want the option to return it, it's maybe worth checking some of the stores in EU. I believe candykeys and caps unlocked carry them.

Oh yeah, and they have many switches available (even silent blacks). I would have gotten one, but the height of the profile prevented me.

That's what I think as well. I don't need a compact keyboard just to double the space with a rest.

Maybe this could be an option: https://www.facebook.com/Vortexgear/pho ... =3&theater :)
