BOX switch and the keycap situation

Just wonder if the whole situation with the BOX switches killing yo keycaps has been resolved?

I have been reading around it and it seems that all the concerns were mostly voiced a year ago. People either do not encounter this problem anymore or just give up. But overall it is hard to find the final conclusion as of now.

Plus I have some jades shipping to me at the moment, how do I know if they are newer version or the keycap terminator version?

If you got them from a reputable seller they are the revised stem version and will not harm your caps. There are sellers that still sell the old switch, but if you get it from novelkeys or somewhere like that you should be good.

Correct, have now bought all my latest BOX switches from Novelkeys and every single one doesn't GAPE any single Key-cap, whether it's made by GMK or Signature Plastics.

There's a lot of choice compared to a couple of years ago. Truly a very fine time to be a Keyboard Lover with so many switches available.

Well I bought it from another person on Reddit though, that is why I ask.

I guess I will find out after a few months then XD
