Hello everyone,
Has anyone else noticed that Yellow alps don't feel nearly as good as Green alps? I cleaned up my Zenith board with Yellow alps and while the switches feel really smooth and are nice in a way, they don't feel as nice as Green alps in my honest opinion. I can't place my finger on why green alps feel better even when using them next to each other. Has anyone else noticed this?
Cheers,

Oh absolutely. Yellow alps are a gen 2 alps switch, whereas greens are gen 1. Quality of gen 1 switches are typically better than successive gens.

i believe it's material differences - slider/housing material specifically. Also second gen switches come with short switchplates too. Springs are different as well.
