I've heard of quite a lot of loud keyboards like the Model F, Emarth EM-601, Most MX blue boards, Most MX blue knockoff boards, Pretty much all beamspring boards (with solenoid) but are their anything louder?
Typewriters can also be included!

IMO, MX blue and clones aren't "loud," they're higher pitched.
There are several keyboards with speakers. If you can put a powered amp in one, I'm pretty sure that it could be way more loud than a solenoid ... unless it's a really big solenoid. Or lots of solenoids.

Try an IBM Selectric.
In addition to sound of typing element hitting the platen, you also get motor whirring and carriage slamming the tab stops; quite an auditory experience.
Now imagine an office full of them.

As somebody who hears a selectric every day... yeah its as loud as you remember.
With a custom solenoid setup you could probably surpass it with any keyboard.. it would need to be quite a large solenoid. Speakers seems like cheating, solenoid gets a pass because its cool.

I'm fairly sure that I could fit an amp and a larger speaker into this Wang keyboard. As is, the highest volume setting doesn't completely drown out the salmon Alps switches.Kneeboard wrote: ↑03 Dec 2020, 22:15We heard you like solenoids so we put a solenoid in your solenoidhellothere wrote: ↑03 Dec 2020, 16:55IMO, MX blue and clones aren't "loud," they're higher pitched.

For that matter, you could probably fit a solenoid, microphone, amp, and a large speaker into a Beamspring case. So, the mic pics up the sound of the solenoid, the sound gets amplified, and the sound is sent through your speaker. I think this is a big win.
