Got this keyboard from Germany because the person who was selling them was selling them for 15€ a piece. I was supposed to get three but apparently the person who packed them messed up meaning that only one arrived. I also was surprised when this got here with a little black card slot in the top, which kinda ruined my plans to use the case on an Alps 1800 that I'm working on. Seller said that he would send me two keyboards because one of his packers messed up, so I thought while I waited I'd make this into a work keyboard (I have quite a few boards that are styled exactly like this). I may eventually paint this so that it isn't yellowed any more but that's not super high on the priority list right now for my keyboard projects.
The keycaps are some generic DSA 9009 keycaps from Amazon with some colored modifiers from PMK. The caps lock is a little janky though because I had to cut the stem off, move it over, and glue it down though.
If anyone wants it, I'll upload the 3D printed card slot filler on to Thingiverse/Printables in a little bit.

Do you still need a pristine (but yellowed) G80-1800 Case ? i have one i would be willing to sell for a small fee BUT i live in germany.Seirin-Blu wrote: ↑10 Sep 2022, 23:41I also was surprised when this got here with a little black card slot in the top, which kinda ruined my plans to use the case on an Alps 1800 that I'm working on.
Shipping would not be worth imo but maybe to you. I also have an empty g80-3000 shell (with the og controller board).

Thank you, but no I do not need another case. I actually bought 2 g80-1800s from a German eBay seller, but some things went wrong and I needed up getting three (they didn’t accidentally send me three, other issues occured and it just worked out this way). I have two cases without the slots. I used one for this keyboard and one for an alps 1800 that I’ll probably make a post on soon. Here’s what they look like though. https://imgur.com/a/A7Q55NU https://imgur.com/a/aFHHggPguidemetothelight wrote: ↑11 Oct 2022, 14:22
