Megalodon Triple Knob Macro Pad and Vial

Hi all,

this is my first post on this forum (actually my 2nd, my first is the german version of this one in the german forum of desktheory). I am an avid HHKB Hybrid aficionado who just ordered a Megalodon Triple Knob Macro Pad to fire off various Keyboard Maestro Macros on the Mac.
Unfortunately, the Vial software that is recommended to remap the keys does not recognize the pad.
The Mac does recognize the Macropad, and the keys apparently work as well as the knobs. The web-based version of Vial also recognizes the pad, but when you try to "connect" it, Vial can't find the keyboard. Vial's app skips recognizing the keyboard and immediately tells you when you connect it with the USB cable that the keyboard is not found.
Anyone here familiar with Vial and can help?
