Something like a Sun Compact 1?

I'm trying to find a keyboard which is tenkeyless, but has additional function keys I can rebind -- something like the Sun Compact 1 (viewtopic.php?f=62&t=21219) but ideally with a more modern interface so I don't have to use an adapter. I don't mind a slightly wider keyboard, and *depth* doesn't bother me at all, it's just that I want to keep my trackball closer at hand so the numpad has to go.

Wired is great, but wireless is acceptable too.

RGB is an anti-feature for me but I'll accept it if that's the only choice.

I'm not well-versed in where you need to look for this sort of stuff, so I apologize if this is an "obvious" question.

Edit: ah, i guess an "unsaver" is what I want? Not necessarily that particular IBM guy but something like that, which has lots of funkeys but no numpad. wiki/Battleship
